Parque Quinta de los Molinos: historic, tranquil park in Madrid

When you live in the active city of Madrid, or are spending a large amount of time here, the city buzz can get exhausting. For that (and for plenty of other reasons), having extensive parks is needed. Parque Quinta de los Molinos is one such park, an area of natural beauty, but especially, of tranquility. The times we visited Parque Quinta de los Molinos, it was always super relaxed, with almost no other visitors around.

It’s an historic park, with well managed trees and a well-known lake. Another remarkable feature of the park is the mill to be found here, though there is one thing really setting it apart: the large amount of almond trees, that offer a true spectacle when they are in bloom. In the proximity of this park, you can also find Quinta de Torre Arias, a park with a similar size and set-up.
