At first sight, Llantén Veggie Bar just seems like a typical, traditional, Spanish-style bar-eatery. And even though it offers the atmosphere, the homely feeling and coziness of this kind of bar, the big difference is that all food here is vegan and elaborated in a fantastic way.

Opened in the summer of 2016, Llantén Veggie Bar is another great add to Madrid’s expanding vegan scene. It’s a project of two people that are passionate about veganism, and about great food. They focus on working with quality ingredients, and making everything in-house. You’ll find various different plates, including many which use mock meat or mock fish (even including plant-based chorizo). Even the desserts, such as the ice-cream, are artisan made!

You can eat inside, but Llantén Veggie Bar also offers take-away. A daily lunch menu is available, for a very affordable price. Visiting Llantén Veggie Bar is a truly local experience, and delivers sustainability and great food.
