COCO – World of Veg Food: new vegetarian and vegan café in Barcelona, just off La Rambla de Catalunya

Recently, Barcelona declared itself a veggie-friendly city, with all rights to do so. Cause the offer of vegetarian and vegan restaurants in the city is marvelous and the quality of the food on offer often among the city’s top cuisine. Even when you’re discovering La Rambla de Catalunya and are up for a healthy veggie bite you have a great option, quite newly opened café COCO.

They’re just one street off Barcelona’s most visited street, and offer a really nice rustic, wooden and authentic interior. The main aim of this café is to serve as a take-away venue, even though some seating is available. The menu is roughly half vegetarian and half vegan, with a strong focus on burgers, empanadas, quiches, juices and more. A strong focus on well-balanced and healthy food. But if you’re up for a sin, it’s a welcoming and good place for (vegan) cakes as well. A nice option at any moment of the day.
