Cafè Camèlia: nice café in Barcelona with a homely atmosphere

Cafè Camèlia, even though it is located at one of Gràcia’s main streets, Carrer Verdi, is not that much known among Barcelona’s public, especially those out of this neighbourhood. But it certainly is a small hidden gem!

Nice plants on the outside, a cozy interior full of wood, large tables and friendly staff, it all creates a very homely atmosphere, one you really wish for in a café. And the food is of outstanding quality. Organic teas, homemade cakes or bread, and several vegetarian and vegan plates. These include various sandwiches, salads, burgers, even a Senegalese dish. All elaborated on place with quality ingredients. Coffee comes from one of Barcelona’s most iconic coffee roasters, El Magnifico.

Cafè Camèlia is a perfect spot while discovering the fashionable and innovative neighbourhood that Gràcia is, or while going or returning from parks such as Park Güell.
