But Beauty Station is also a sustainable story. When Carola, who comes from Argentina, took over Beauty Station 2 years ago, she transformed the place to her lifestyle, a sustainable one. All the cosmetics and products used now are vegan (and you can also buy them to use at home), she changed lighting to low-energy-use, re-uses tools and packaging to upcycle it into something new, collects bottle caps for charity, etc. A lot of sustainable benefits, but also a whole new creative side to this place, one fitting the entire concept. Moreover, they’re very welcoming to the lgbt-public and are located in the Chueca neighbourhood of Madrid.
