What makes a city vegan, vegetarian or veg-friendly? The amount of restaurants in which one doesn’t have to mind the menu, knowing that all dishes are vegetarian or plant-based is an important one. But being able to find veggie options in mainstream restaurants is so as well, just as affordability and the amount of variety in vegetarian and vegan food (choices that range from fast food to fine food). In terms of total amount of vegan and vegetarian restaurants, London is the winner. Although that doesn’t surprise, given the fact it’s also Europe’s largest city.
