El Pedal: craft beer bar in the creative heart of Madrid

This area of Madrid, between Embajadores and the Atocha main train station of the city, is full of creative places. Famous and lesser known museums, art galleries, interesting shop and eateries. If you’re up for a drink, you should definitely check out El Pedal. A small bar with an urban atmosphere, including a street-terrace throughout most of the year.

At El Pedal, open since 2011, you’ll find quite some international craft beers, the more known ones, to the up and coming craft beers. But what makes it even more worthwhile to visit is their offer of craft beer from Spanish micro-breweries. You’ll find for instance the craft beers of La Pirata, a Barcelona-based craft beer brewery. But if you want to go even more local, check out the beers crafted in Madrid, such as those of brewery La Virgen. a real Madrid-based craft beer story.
